Born in Texas,
Built on Tradition
Church's Chicken was founded in 1952 by George W. Church Sr. right across the street from the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas. With a simple dream of serving the crispiest, most flavorful fried chicken at an honest price, George built something that would last generations.
Our Houston location on Chimney Rock Road carries that same spirit. Every piece of chicken is marinated in our signature blend of spices, hand-battered, and fried fresh to order. We pair our chicken with made-from-scratch honey-butter biscuits, southern sides, and the warm hospitality that Texas is famous for.
Over seven decades later, we're still the same Church's — just a little older, a lot wiser, and more passionate than ever about bringing bold, Southern flavor to every single meal.
Order Nowwith Southern soul — every day.
We believe great food should be accessible, consistent, and made with genuine care. That's the promise we make to every guest who walks through our doors.
